Donate to Our SCCC Fund at MD Anderson

The Sorority of Hope Sisterhood, as a group for women diagnosed with Small and Large Cell Neuroendocrine Cervical Cancer, partnered with  MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston to take up the cause and start a research fund for the benefit of women diagnosed with these rare cancers.   We have funded a tumor registry (NeCTuR), an informational site for women and their families who have been touched by these cancers (, and are now looking to fund molecular testing of tumors for women diagnosed and hopefully soon a clinical trial. We do not have any celebrity backing and no government funding, so we do what we can, dollar by dollar.

Small and Large Cell Cervical Cancer are rare and aggressive non-HPV related forms of cancer, with no set protocol for treatment and a very poor prognosis for survival. About 250 women are diagnosed each year in the U.S. with these cancers. The number worldwide is still unknown. Please help us keep this funding going and help make the difference in the lives of women affected by these cancers. No amount is too small.
